Set on the banks of beautiful Lake Eildon, we present to you, The Barn Bonnie Doon.
Being owner builders offered us a unique blend of challenges and rewards, the highest of highs and some low times too. Yet it allowed us to control our vision from start to finish. It took what seemed like a lifetime to build this magical space, but as they say, all good things take time.
In the planning and design stage of The Barn Bonnie Doon, all our focus was bringing in as much of the beautiful surrounds and natural light as we could. We used cathedral ceilings and clean lines to instil a sense of grandeur, and pops of olive green to feel calm and earthly.
We set out to break the mould from the ordinary, to create a space that was tranquil, yet luxurious. From the handmade concrete benchtops, the solid black standing seam cladding exterior to the massive skylight tunnel in the main bathroom, something a little bit different was always the goal.
Now, we are so thrilled to be able to share our little piece of paradise with others. We want you to be able to experience Bonnie Doon and surrounding areas and create your own happy memories as we have.
